JMF LOGO CREATION
Project summary
ABOUT JMF
During my internship at gpalcreative, I was asked to design a logo for one of their clients: The Jack Martin Fund (JMF). JMF is a charitable organization that has contributed over $45 million to Mount Sinai Hospital in support of medical care, research, and education; their main focus is to raise money for sick children.
THE TASK
Create a new logo and variations for JMF that represent their values and connect with their community—especially incorporating personal touches like their love and for golf and golden retrievers, which is often used within their fundraising.

LOGO CREATION process
Research & Inspiration
I began by creating a Pinterest board filled with branding inspiration focused on charitable organizations, golf themes, and subtle nods to golden retrievers.
ideation
I sketched and experimented in Adobe Illustrator, exploring multiple directions—from clean wordmarks to illustrated symbols.
Feedback & Iteration
Through collaborative feedback sessions with the client, we narrowed down the strongest concepts. They responded positively to logos that felt traditional but also modern and personal.
Refinement
I refined a handful of selected concepts based on their favorites, providing final logo variations that could be used flexibly across their brand materials.
